It's finally here! Rihanna released her music video for "Four Five Seconds" with Kanye West and Paul McCartney today at 9 A.M. EST (6AM PST). As usual, Rih Rih did NOT disappoint.
Because Rihanna is secretly my BFF in my head, as soon as I got out of my first class at 8:55AM, I went straight for YouTube. This three minute and six second video was simple, but perfect at the same time.
She first announced her master plan yesterday, February 2, 2015, by surprising her fans with two teaser clips of her black and white musical masterpiece. She captioned the first clip with, "Mood" and the second clip with, "#FourFiveSecondsVideo sneak peek…first Official video from my new album premieres tomorrow Feb 3 at 9am EST. (6am PST.) on @VEVO!! #KanyeWest@PaulMcCartney@inezvinoodh."
From Rihanna crying, Paul McCartney slaying the acoustic guitar and Kanye, well, being Kanye, this soulful, country-like song's visual was very heart-felt and emotional.
Along with the video, rumors of a Rihanna and Kanye tour are floating around social media after Complex posted this tease of a photo on their Instagram captioned, "Could This Be?":
LORD KNOWS! I hope that this is in the works. If so, I'm definitely going to use whatever coins I have to get my tickets! I also will be watching Rih's debut performance of "Four Five Seconds" on The 57th Grammys on Sunday, February 8 at 8/7c on CBS. Claps and snaps to the Bad Gal! We can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve next.
Here's the "Four Five Seconds" video. Enjoy!:
