Kehlani has done it again and better than ever. During her TSNMI Festival Season in Canada, the "You Should Be Here" songstress released the news about her newest single, "CRZY," at 11:54 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016 on Instagram, with an added tattoo on the artwork stating, "the which does not KILL us, only makes us stronger."
The Oakland, CA native is known for sharing her personal stories while uplifting the youth through her lyrics. She has been through a lot of trials and tribulations throughout her entire life, but she always seems to go about it in a positive light, which ultimately helps her fans to get through their troubles with their heads held high.
She starts this all-female produced song with the line, "everything I do I do it with a passion/ If I gotta be a b-tch ima be a bad one." She later follows up by singing, "bounce back game good, why we talking' practice?" Make no mistake, Kehlani's letting us know that she's here and she's not playing games with her Atlanta hip-hop vibes.
Throughout the whole song, "The Way" singer reminds us that no matter what she goes through, it only makes her stronger and that's "one more reason to turn up on 'em." YAS, MA'AM.
"CRZY" follows her previous releases, "24/7," which was released earlier this May after the Kyrie Irving and PARTYNEXTDOOR rumors, and "Did I," which released last year.
It goes without saying that any Kehlani track manifests positivity for her fans and this song is the ultimate anthem that should be added to your "Self-love/ Self-care Playlist." After all of these single-releases, there's only one question for Miss Kehlani: WHERE'S THE ALBUM?
